Chris Brown Faces Probation Violation

It looks as though Chris Brown's legal troubles are starting up again, as the Los Angeles District Attorney has filed papers accusing the singer of faking community service in his Rihanna assault case.

Prosecutors in the case allege the 23-year-old did not complete all of his hours at the Tappahannock Children’s Center in Virginia, where he was said to be helping out with odd jobs around the facility.

While authorities received a letter from Richmond police chief Bryan T. Norwood last September claiming Brown had completed 202 days of service, the DA has found what he calls “significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting” of the community service.

New court documents claim there is “ no credible, competent or verifiable evidence” that the hours were actually performed and on some occasions, the singer was not even in Virginia while allegedly signed in.

Court officials in Los Angeles are prepared to request for Mr. Brown to fulfill his community service obligation in LA.
