Our latest interview slot is an insight into 21 year old Esther Kekong, the current missafrica lugansk 2012. Her status as Missafrica lugansk comes with a lot of interesting benefits and as we chat, I couldn’t help but ask what drew her to the pageant.
Can you tell us your Name in full and more about your Educational Background?
Esther kekong .I went to primary school in cross river state.did part of my secondary education in Calabar ,did the remaining half in portharcourt graduated in 2008 .Did a 6months computer course
and came to ukraine in 2009 i'm currently in 4th year at the lugansk state medical university
How old are u?
21
What was your experiences at the Pageant like and what was the great obstacle you faced?
the pageant was beautiful, my main purpose was to have fun meeting different girls with different backgrounds and character and working with them was quiet easy.
What were the qualities you think you have that made you stand out?
i am simple,
take things easy, hardly let anything or any one get to me
being myself and leaving the rest to God brought out the required personality
well, was happy
Have you participated in any pageants before now ?
hmmmn, actually, i always admired beauty queens when i was much younger but i didn't see myself in a pageant i preferred brand modelling and stuffs like that. i remember a few weeks to the pageant an old friend saw me and said" you should consider modelling you know"
modelling not exactly ,but back then in school days i was the queen of my house, school clubs and the rest
What prizes did you win?
i was given a free Turkish airline ticket to any country of my choice and some very beautiful gifts from within the organizing committee.
How are you dealing with ur new status?
its been good so far, i live my life normally being a role model to as many others looking up to me getting some form of unusual attension tho.
What would you like to achieve before the end of your tenure ?
ut am open to new ideas and willing to take up any challenge
i will stand as voice of the modern African woman.my team and i will take our love to the orphanage
and needy and other of such projects
What are your plans for the people that voted you who are not orphans?
what more can i do than represent them properly, i mean regarding the reason i was voted.
like i said im willing to take up challenges as they arise

5'7
What is your definition of success?
success is living a life with God as center stage."seek yea first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other thing will be added" thats my def. of success
What quality do you like most about yourself and why?
i like the fact that i am true to who i am
that's one reason why i never look down on my abilities.
What is the one feature you would change about yourself and why?
that will be bending some of my rules to accommodate people around me like taking calls after 10pm, seriously working on that. haha
Do you have any other talent you will like to share?
i sing, act and dance too

we'll, in due season.

i am sorely into gospel, so jid vocals isnt bad at all,
You talk a lot about being a Christian .What role do you play in church?
i'm in my church's choir.
Are you dating anyone at the moment?
personal life is personal lol

a man like my father sio
What are your hobbies?
singing, talking, travelling and designing
what are your likes and dislikes?
i like food,man and i dislike people i cant trust
Who is your role model?
my mama.

Where can you see yourself 10 years from now?
in a place beyond human comprehension. too much to describe.
A word to the people that also wants to get to the position you are today.
do you, listen to peoples opinions not to feel judged but filter them, add up to who you are. be receptive and open to new ideas.
