Osun PDP accuses Aregbesola of financing Ondo election

Osun PDP accuses Aregbesola of financing Ondo election

The Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State has accused the state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of spending N4billion of the state scarce resources to finance Ondo State gubernatorial election.
According to The Director of Media and Strategy for Osun PDP, Prince Diran Odeyemi; “We have it on good authority that each ACN controlled governors have been ordered to donate N2billion towards Ondo State gubernatorial election but our concern is that our own governor is donating N4billion.”
But his counterpart in the ACN, Mr. Kunle Oyatomi, described the allegation as a figment of the imagination of the PDP, asking why the main opposition party in the state was always in the habit of concocting frivolous figures when it comes to issue of money.
Oyatomi queried where the PDP expected Aregbesdola’s administration to cough out N4billion to finance election in another state when there are lots of projects in Osun State begging  for attention.
