According to the court documents dug up by TMZ Rihanna claims she was worth $11 million at the beginning of 2009 and only worth $2 million by the end of the year, meanwhile her expenses had doubled.
Rihanna claims her accountants advised her she could purchase a house between $7 and $7 1/2 million even though her Last Girl on Earth Tour was losing money. She later ended up selling the house at a $2 million loss.
Rihanna's current worth is estimated at $43 million.
Fun Fact: Back in 2008 an open letter claiming to have been leaked by Rihanna's former accountant claimed the pop star was down to her last $20,000 because her manager was using all her outside endorsement money to fund her music career without her knowledge
