Arrest Warrant Issued for rapper Tim Dog Who May Have Faked Own Death

Arrest Warrant Issued for rapper Tim Dog Who May Have Faked Own Death
Rapper Tim Dog

Back in February, media outlets reported the death of long forgotten rapper Tim Dog who reportedly died of seizures related to diabetes in Atlanta on Valentine’s Day.
But a Mississippi prosecutor haas issued a warrant for the rapper’s arrest after a woman conducted her own investigation into Dog’s suspicious death.
The woman, Ester Pilgrim, uncovered information that indicates Dog, real name Timothy Blair, is a con man who may have faked his own death to avoid paying back $2 million in loans.
Pilgrim won a lawsuit against Blair, who was ordered to pay her $100 a month. When he was reported dead, she says, all the payments stopped.
“He really thinks he can outsmart everybody,” she said.
“I need proof,” prosecutor Steven Jubera told WREG in Mississippi. “I need a death certificate showing that he’s dead because as far as I’m concerned, he’s alive.”
News outlets reporting Blair’s death in February quoted a news item from a Hip Hop website, TheSource.com. But the original report has since been deleted from The Source‘s website. The original report did not mention the circumstances of Blair’s death, such as where he was found or how he died.
Hip Hop producer Ced-Gee, who was one of Blair’s closest friends, refused to give the eulogy at his funeral in February because the family didn’t produce a death certificate. Ced-Gee believes the funeral never took place.
Prosecutor Jubera says he will drop the lawsuit if Blair’s family can produce a death certificate proving Blair is really dead.
