Lil Wayne was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in West Hollywood and spent 6 days in ICU after suffering several massive seizures caused by a suspected drug overdose.
Weezy's friends and family vehemently denied the reports.
According to gossip website TMZ.com, troubled rapper Lil Wayne was released from Cedars-Sinai hospital yesterday, where he was treated for recurrent seizures related to a reported drug overdose.
Confusion reigned when Wayne was re-admitted to Cedars-Sinai on Friday after a bodyguard found him unconscious on the floor of his hotel room.
Sources on the west coast told several websites, including this one, that Wayne was on his death bed. But the rumors turned out to be false. A tweet allegedly sent from Wayne’s phone only added to the confusion — and confirmed suspicions that Wayne was in no condition to send the tweet himself.
