Four Medical students of Igbinedion University kidnapped

ANXIETY gripped students and staff of the Igbinedion University, Okada,in Edo State, after four medical students of the institution were reportedly abducted by suspected kidnappers yesterday.
Vanguard learnt that the students were picked up by the suspected kidnappers along the Okada Benin road, while on their way to Benin after sitting for an examination at the school campus.
The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Jide Olugbon, who confirmed the incident appealed to their abductors to spare the lives of the students.

The lives of the students must not be jeopardized please and this is why we ought to do everything possible not to worsen a bad situation.”
The state police spokesman, Anthony Airhuoyo, who was contacted, said he was yet to be briefed by the DPO at Okada and promised to contact the police in Okada.
