BBA winner Dillish Mathew is now single

For weeks now there have been speculations that BBA 2013 winner Dillish Mathews and her boyfriend Stephen Gaeseb have broken up. Dillish even went as far as deleting all his pictures from her instagram page. Stephen did same too. There were reports that the longtime lovers broke up because Stephen was expecting a child with another woman.

Well, after much speculation, Stephen has finally reacted to the reports. In an interview with a Namibian Sun yesterday, he confirmed that he'd split from Dillish but denied he's expecting a baby with another woman. He admitted exchanging flirtatious text messages with a Nigerian woman but says he didn't cheat. He confirmed they split in December 2013.

He defended Dillish by saying people who claimed she was gold digger, who became rich & dumped him, were wrong about her.
"It wasn't about money. It's just that we both agreed we were better apart. Dillish isn't just physically beautiful, she's amazing and I respect her" He told the paper
"While Dillish was on the show, there was a Nigerian woman who was helping to campaign for people in her country to vote for her. I was in contact with her because I helped with the campaigning. We flirted via text messages and so on. I mean all guys flirt, it doesn’t mean you intend on acting on it. She then sent a snapshot of our conversations to a friend of Dillish, who eventually sent it to Dillish. We had an argument about that, which led to an argument about other things and we both said some things that we wish we didn’t. After that we decided to break-up and haven’t been together since December.”
"The pregnancy and the cheating rumours are all ridiculous. I was shocked when I heard that I impregnated another girl and that I have many other kids. I have a ten-year-old boy. This alleged pregnancy is just untrue." Stephen said

BBA Angelo Dumps Beverly for his South African girlfriend, Candice Arends

According to my sources in South Africa, Beverly Osu's man in the BBA house, South African dancer Angelo Collins is kinda back with his South African girlfriend, Candice Arends. Well, it's more like he's trying to woo her back and they've been spotted meeting up at different spots in South Africa. It remains to be seen if their reconciliation will be a permanent one.

Meanwhile, I heard that things kinda fell apart for Bev and Angelo while he was in Nigeria a few weeks ago. Not only did Angelo make Bev's people buy his ticket to come to Nigeria, he also refused to be intimate with Bev while he was her though they shared the same hotel rooms. Angelo said he wanted to wait until things got serious between them. It didn't. And I hear Bev is sad about it but moving ahead.
And there has been a 'war' on Twitter already, between Beverly's fans against Candice's who are very pissed off that Angelo treated Beverly this way, and Candice had the guts to flaunt their reunion on Twitter.
I was thinking, ladies, what would you do if you were in Candice's shoes - would you take Angelo back if you were her? Considering all the embarrassment he caused her.
Remember he denied her publicly after Big Brother Africa The Chase show ended, told everyone he owed her no commitment.

Then he flew down to Nigeria and had a highly publicized visit during Beverly's birthday with pictures of them passionately kissing and him professing how much he loved Beverly.

$300,000 BBA Winner Dillish's Father Surfaces After 'Abandoning' Her At Birth

Big Brother Africa The Chase winner, Dillish Mathews, grew up not knowing who her father was.
And according to the story her mum, Selma Pashukeni told her, Selma was impregnated by a man who was on a peacekeeping mission in their country Namibia but somehow they lost contact.
All efforts to locate the man had failed as Dillish's mother said her former lover stopped replying her letters and she didn't even know which country to go to look for him.

So after Dillish won the BBA $300,000 prize money, she granted an interview saying she was looking for her father.
That was when a Kenyan man named Abdi Guyo came out to say he is her father.

The news received mixed reactions with many saying that he was after her new found fortune, even Dillish herself tweeted:
 “Why is this weird dude claiming to be my dad! My dad is Somali! Where did he fall from haaaaaaai -_-”.
She also went ahead to retweet those who thought that Abdi was lying.


But in a Google hangout organized by the Kenyan Embassy in Namibia and the Standard Group, Dillish's mum Selma and Abdi were able to talk to each other for the first time in close to 23 years.
The emotions ran deep and Selma was visibly overcome by the reunion.
It was clear that she recognized him as the two gushed about their time together while in Namibia.

Abdi explained that while he tried his best to keep in touch, his hectic army schedule and the extremely slow communication modes caused them to drift apart.
And by the end of the hangout, Abdi was invited to Namibia to celebrate Dillish’s 23rd birthday which is on the 16th of September.

There's no official statement from Dillish just yet but from her recent tweets, it seems she has warmed up to Abdi and that this is the fairy tale ending that she had hoped for.
