2012 BET Awards Nominees: ICE PRINCE AND WIZKID NOMINATED 



It’s always an exciting event each year, and the 2012 BET Awards nominations have been announced to the public.
Topping all contenders is Kanye West, who has scored a total of seven mentions with all but one coming from his collaboration with Jay-Z called Watch The Throne.
Speaking of Jay, he’ll compete in five categories, while his wife/babymama Beyonce Knowles bested him with six nods.
In other categories, "The Help" star Viola Davis is among the ladies hoping to take home the trophy for Best Actress while Denzel Washington vies for Best Actor accolades when the 2012 BET Awards comes to the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on July 1st.
