2 Gay Men Petition Court to Be Listed As Fathers On Their Sons’ Birth Certificates

The Gay agenda’s war on heterosexual women and family traditions continues.
This story sounds like something out of a Frankenstein movie: 2 gay men in Dallas, Texas hired a surrogate to carry eggs that were fertilized in a lab. When the surrogate delivered two healthy baby boys the men petitioned a Texas judge to remove the birth mother’s name from the birth certificates and replace her name with their own — as if they gave birth to the boys.
Wisely, the judge said no.
Texas does not recognize gay marriage. So Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs, who met 4 years ago, were married last July in Washington DC, where gay marriage is legal. But instead of hiring a surrogate to give birth in D.C. where gay marriage is legal, the men decided to go back to Dallas and test the legal waters.
Each man is the biological father of one of the boys. The surrogate mother is not the biological mother.
“As of right now in Texas two men cannot be on the birth certificate,” Jason Hanna explained in an interview on SiriusXM Progress. “So our attorney followed the letter of the law. We petitioned the court. We had DNA testing there [in court] and petitioned the judge to ultimately remove the surrogate mother from the birth certificate, who has no biological ties to the boys. We would like each biological dad to be placed on the birth certificate of our own son, and then ultimately proceed to the second-parent adoption. The entire petition was denied.”
Riggs and Hanna seem to be intent on removing women from the entire birth process. They are aggravated that the law is not yet on their side.
“We were sworn in and ultimately the judge was saying that with the information she had in front of her, under Texas law she couldn’t grant it,” Riggs said of their appearance in court last week. “I was shocked. We had a ton of questions as we walked away from that courtroom.”
The men say they are not interested in listing one father on the birth certificate while the other father adopts the boys. That would be too simple.
“Without [co-adoption], if something happened to either me or Joe we don’t have any legal recourse to keep the other’s biological child,” Hanna said. “The state could come in and separate these two brothers…We want to reiterate how important it is for a state to recognize each family, whether it’s same-sex or opposite-sex, and really to ensure everyone has equal protection from the state.”
While the gay community supports Riggs and Hanna’s plight, not everyone is in agreement with their alternative family.

I become a President to preserve and strengthen the unity of Ukraine.

As people began gathering at St. Sophia Square in Kyiv, where the second part of the inauguration of Ukraine’s newly-elected President Petro Poroshenko was going to be held, the heat was increasing and anxiety was rising.

The “chocolate billionaire” Poroshenko won early presidential elections on May 25 in the first round with 54.7 percent of votes after Viktor Yanukovych was ousted in late February.

When Poroshenko finally arrived at 11 a.m., the Ukrainians who came to greet the new head of the state were not disappointed. When he stepped out of the car, he waved to the people and only then proceeded with the ceremony. In the square, the commanders of Ukrainian military forces officially introduced themselves to Poroshenko and the president’s flag was hoisted. After the ceremony, Poroshenko walked into St. Sophia Cathedral to get blessed by church leaders.

Some 2,000 people came to the square to witness the ceremony.

Tamara Maksymenko, one of the visitors, said she was satisfied with the president’s performance at the inauguration.

“He looked calm and confident, I had a pleasant impression,” she said, but added that she wished the ceremony was held at Kyiv’s Independence Square, where EuroMaidan protests took place and “where the power was actually given to him,”

Britain on Wednesday accused Russia of causing unrest in eastern Ukraine with "a torrent of disinformation" and called on Moscow to lean on pro-Russian separatists to end their conflict with government forces.

In some of its strongest comments on the subject yet, the British Foreign Office said it wasn't credible for Russia to deny responsibility for events in eastern Ukraine.

"We call upon Russia to use its influence to put an end to the instability. Russia has refused to condemn the illegal actions of armed groups that look to it for direction," the British Foreign Office said in a statement.
                        We have heard a torrent of disinformation and inflammatory statements (from Russia) that fuel unrest and create unfounded fears. We have seen a military build-up and manoeuvres on Ukraine's borders designed to intimidate.

The days of empire and spheres of influence are over.  Bigger nations must not be allowed to bully the small, or impose their will at the barrel of a gun or with masked men taking over buildings.  And the stroke of a pen can never legitimize the theft of a neighbor’s land.  So we will not accept Russia’s occupation of Crimea or its violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty.

The top NATO commander said on Wednesday that the remaining Russian troops on the Ukraine border look like they intend to stay there, while rebel forces inside Ukraine continue to destabilize the Kiev government.

US Air Force General Philip Breedlove said NATO needs to consider having a long-term troop presence deployed in the region "for as long as required" to address the Russian threat.

Breedlove said NATO needs "to have a much more responsive force to address this new threat that we see." 

He said the allies will consider where the force should be positioned and whether it should move in and out on a rotational basis or remain in the region as long as needed.

Weapons Found In Zamfara Lawmaker’s House

As the news of the scary discovery spread in Gusau and neigbouring Tsafe town,there was panic and tension as motorists and residents struggled for safety, resulting in a gridlock.

A source who pleaded  anonymity, told Daily Sun that the raid  on the lawmaker’s residence followed a tip-off. According to sources , some men who were arrested with arms in Kano,  made confessional statement that they kept  their arms and ammunition in the Zamfara lawmaker’s  house.

“We learnt that it was based on this revelation that the security operatives stormed his two houses  in Tsafe town and Takama in Gusau metropolis,” a source said.

It was further gathered that following the raid, several AK47 rifles,boxes of live ammunition and several tins of teargas were discovered in the legislator’s  residence in Gusau,while a grenade was discovered in his house at Tsafe

 Daily Sun revealed  that the incident occurred after  a top notcher of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) was invited for questioning about  a month ago for his alleged romance with cattle rustlers in the state.
