Photo: Girl Swallows Her Phone To Keep Her Boyfriend From Reading Her Texts!

Heard this news and had to go looking for the original source and I found it.
I also found the video. Watch it after the cut

According to this Spanish website Yipeta.com, a 19-year-old woman from Brazil named Adriana Andrade was sooo desperate to keep her boyfriend Renato from reading the text messages on her cellphone that when he demanded to see them she took off running.

And when she was far enough away, she did the unthinkable...the girl actually SWALLOWED her
cellphone.
Supposedly, she had to undergo an operation to get the cellphone removed.

Woman Commits Suicide Over An iPad In Ondo

A 41-year-old woman, Mrs Catherine Sefunmi Urouna, has allegedly committed suicide by drinking some poisonous substance in protest of her husband's refusal to buy her an iPad device.
Her family of five was on Saturday morning thrown into mourning, even as the neighbours were shocked that a woman, who was happily married with children, could take such a nasty decision to take her own life over an iPad.

According to LEADERSHIP finding, the 41-year-old woman and mother of three, two boys and a girl, was a senior account officer at the Akure North local government council of Ondo State.
She was said to have threatened to kill herself a fortnight ago if her husband failed to get her an iPad; even as the husband had pleaded with her to be patient and asked her to use the Blackberry phone he bought for her until he could afford to buy her an iPad.

The police in Ondo State, however, said they were investigating the incident to ascertain the actual cause of her death

Female Passenger Causes Panic Aboard Aero Flight Yesterday

Barely one week after a teenage boy, Daniel Ohikena caused a scare when he stowed away on an Arik Air plane from Benin to Lagos, another woman took over last Friday.

Passengers aboard an Aero Contractors aircraft scheduled to take-off from Lagos to Benin were Friday thrown into confusion as one of the female passengers started screaming on top of her voice that she was no longer travelling.
She was initially ignored by members of cabin crew and passengers alike but when she continued screaming, her persistence led to panic and suspicion among the passengers.

Vanguard reports her strange behavior led to the delay of the Benin- bound aircraft for two hours as all the passengers were asked to disembark while the plane was screened again.
All the checked-in luggage were also off-loaded for proper screening by both Aero and Aviation Security, AVSEC, of the Federal Airports authority of Nigeria, FAAN.

But despite the re-screening of the already checked in passengers and their luggage, nothing suspicious was found on board.
According to an eye witness:

All passengers were already onboard and the pilot was preparing to take off before the woman started the strange behaviour. At first, no one took her seriously, but when the shouting and soliloquy continued, the passengers became apprehensive and ordered the pilot to abort the flight.
The situation was not funny at all. In fact, the woman was speaking in a language which no one understood. But I can tell you authoritatively that all the passengers have been taken to Benin with the same aircraft and they landed in the airport safely.
This was not the first time such an incident would be happening. In fact, it is common among first time travellers but no one knows the motive behind this act. However, I believe the security agents will do their work and reveal what led to the strange behaviour.”

Polish Woman Dedicates Her Life To Sleeping With 100,000 Men At 20mins Each!

This 21-year-old Polish woman Ania Lisewska has vowed to travel to every city across the world in a bizarre quest to sleep with 100,000 men!
According to Huffingtonpost/DailyMail, Ania Lisewska told the Austrian Times:
'I want men from Poland, Europe and all around the world. I love sex, fun and men.'In Poland the subject of sex is still taboo and anyone who wants to fulfill their sexual fantasies is considered a deviant, a w**** or mentally ill.'
Ania embarked on the unusual mission in her home city last month and has so far added 284 notches
to her bedpost.

She adds that she hopes to spend at least 20 minutes with each partner.

Most people don't believe she can achieve it though, cos by calculation:
having sex with that many people for 20 minutes at a time would take Miss Lisewska 3.8 years to complete if she didn't stop for food or sleep.
Seeing as she only plans to do it only on Saturdays and Sundays, the task would take 20 years non-stop.
Assuming she lives to the age of 81, to hit 100,000 Miss Lisewska would have to up her quota to around 16 men on both days of the weekend.
Reports say Ania's long time boyfriend hasn't dumped her despite her act even though he's not thrilled by the idea.

Bianca Denies Ever Dating Fani-Kayode - Threatens To Sue Him If He Doesn't Offer Her A Public Apology

Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s widow and Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, has described as false the claim by former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, that she was his girlfriend when she was a spinster.

DailySun reports Bianca says she had never met Fani-Kayode before, either at official or private level, not to talk of having an “intimate” relationship with him.

In a letter from her lawyers, Wall Street Attorneys, to Fani-Kayode, dated August 27, 2013 and
signed by Mike Ugwuanyi, Esq, Mrs. Ojukwu demanded that the former minister writes an apology and retraction of the said libelous publication in The Sun and Thisday newspapers, as well as publish it in the online publication, where it emanated, in the next seven days or face litigation.

The letter written by Mrs. Ojukwu’s lawyers and obtained by The Sun read in part:
We have been briefed and our services retained by Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain to demand from you an unreserved apology and a retraction of a false and malicious statement, which you published online and also caused to be published in the Leadership Newspaper of August 16, 2013.
In the said article entitled, ‘Neither a Tribalist nor a Hater,’ you recklessly alleged, as follows: ‘I was not a tribalist when I had a long standing and intimate relationship with Miss Bianca Onoh…’, a statement, which you know is untrue and unfounded, but only calculated to lower our client’s esteem and damage her national and international reputation.
Our client has never met you, does not know you in person and has never had any official or private relationship with you how much more ‘a long-standing and intimate relationship.
Our client is therefore, outraged by your bizarre and scandalous allegation and the numerous mails and telephone calls she has received from friends, relations and admirers who are equally embarrassed and who seek to confirm the veracity or otherwise of your false and reckless publication.
Your apparent lame and half-hearted attempt, as published in the Leadership Newspaper of 17th August 2013, to clarify your false and malicious allegation falls far short of a retraction and does not sufficiently address the damage to our client arising from the widespread dissemination of your false publication and is therefore unacceptable to our client.
In the circumstances, we demand, on the instruction of our client that you submit to her a clear and unqualified apology and retraction published in The Sun and Thisday newspapers in addition to having the retraction published online.
Take note that should you fail to tender the apology and publish a retraction of your false and malicious publication, seven days next after your receipt of this demand notice, our further instructions are to seek appropriate redress in court. And that shall be without further recourse to you. Be properly guided.”

This is our prayer and wish.
“We are giving them one week to open the schools or be ready to face corrosive consequences in form of nation-wide demonstrations and riots. We are ready to mobilise for that and it will be operation occupy Nigeria.”

Meet 14yrs old Ali Hussain, The Boy With The Body Of A 110-year-old Man

This 14-year-old boy has been left with the body of a 110-year-old in India because he has a rare disease which makes him age eight times faster than normal.
Ali Hussain has seen five of his siblings- two of his brothers and three of his sisters, die from the same condition called Progeria which is known to affect just 80 people worldwide.

Sufferers are not expected to live much beyond the age of 14.
Life was made unbearable for him and his late siblings because of their disease, they were mocked in school and called names like ‘big-eyed boy’ and ‘Patlu’ meaning skinny.
Eventually they all stopped going to school.
But despite the grim prognosis Ali has refused to give up hope. Ali says:
‘I very much want to live and I hope there is medicine for my condition out there. I’m not scared of death but my parents have suffered a lot. I’d love to live much longer for them. I don’t want to burden them with any more pain..
We had each other (his siblings) but that was it. We had no life. When we did go to school we were pushed and shoved, called names, kids tried to harm us. We can’t do much physically either; our lungs are so small we get breathless easily.
I would love to be a normal person who can play, go to school, do some sports, take some risks. Sometimes I get depressed but most of the time I make the most of the life I have.’

Grabbers Beat Architect To Death Over N5,000 (Photo)

When Eniola Kiyesola left home for work on August 18, 2013, he bade his wife and three children farewell, saying he would return after the day’s work.
This was, however, not to be as the 36-year-old man was beaten to death by land grabbers few hours after he left his house.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Kiyesola had gone to a construction site to supervise an ongoing work when about five land grabbers stormed the site.
The culprits were said to have demanded N5, 000 from Kiyesola, adding that if he did not pay them, they would prevent labourers from working.

A relative of the deceased, Mr Sola Solebo, said,

“On that day, Kiyesola went to supervise construction at the site.
After sometime, about five hoodlums from Omo Ebi Bagidan Village, led by one Babu and Kazeem, stormed the site and demanded money.
Kiyesola reminded them that the owner of the property had given them money when the foundation of the building was being laid.
The land grabbers then demanded N5, 000 so that they would leave. However, Kiyesola told them that he could not give them any money and told them to come back when the owner of the property was around.
There was an exchange of words and the hoodlums picked up iron rods and beat him up.”

A labourer, Yusuf Olatundun, who claimed to be an eyewitness, said the culprits beat Kiyesola for over an hour.
Olatundun, a bricklayer, said:
About 15 of us were working on the site when those land grabbers came. The land grabbers said they had an axe to grind with the architect. Some of us rushed to Ijede Police Division to report the matter.
“After beating Kiyesola for over an hour, he collapsed. When he became unconscious, the guys fled. When the police arrived we rushed Kiyesola to General Hospital, Ijede where he was confirmed dead.”
PUNCH Metro learnt that the traditional leader of Omo Ebi Bagidan Village, Sunday Basorun, who was alleged to have employed the culprits to collect land dues for him, had been arrested.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said, “The matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.”
Braide added that efforts were on to arrest the fleeing culprits.

Boy found under Arik plane tyre hole thought he was going to the US

The 14 year old boy who beat airline and airport security at Benin airport on Saturday August 24th and flew in the tyre hole of a Lagos-bound Arik plane actually thought he was on his way to the US.

Unfortunately for him the plane wasn't flying to the US, it was flying to Lagos where the stowaway was immediately arrested as he alighted from the wheel well of the aircraft. Daniel is presently in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS) who are trying to unravel how he managed to pull off such a stunt.

Book Reveals How Gaddafi Kidnapped & Sexually Abused Schoolgirls He Kept Locked In Basement

According to a book by journalist Annick Cojean titled Gaddafi's Harem: The Story Of A Young Woman And The Abuses Of Power In Libya,  late dictator, Colonel Gaddafi while he was alive, ordered the kidnap of schoolgirls who he kept as sex slaves in his compound.a

Ms Cojean investigated Gaddafi's abuses of power after meeting Soraya (her name has been changed), who Gaddafi kidnapped when she was 15 and held for five years as a sex slave.
Sonaya says she was violently raped, beaten and abused on an almost daily basis and saw similar abuse of other girls and boys.

Telling her story, Soraya said while at school in the coastal town of Sirte, she had been given the 'honour' of presenting a bouquet of flowers to Gaddafi during a visit in 2004.
After presenting the flowers, Gaddafi, who had eight children, patted her head. She said this was a symbol to his aids that he wanted her.

The following day she was summoned to his palatial six-mile long compound near Tripoli, Bab al-Azizia, where she was stripped, shaved and taken to Gaddafi.
She said he was lying naked on the bed and tried to rape her.
When she fought him off, Soraya was taken away by head of the harem Mabrouka for 'lessons'.

She is quoted in the book as saying: 'He grabbed my hand and forced me to sit next to him on the bed. I didn't dare look at him.
'He said, "Don't be afraid. I'm your papa. That's what you call me, isn't it? But I'm also your brother and your lover. I'm going to be all that for you. Because you are going to stay and live with me forever."'
The schoolgirl was given porn to watch and was made to watch Gaddafi have sex with others so she could 'learn'.

Boys and his male guards were also raped by the tyrant, according to the book.
Soraya was eventually allowed home in 2009 but she says she is a shame to her family because she had sex outside marriage.
She said she only felt free from Gaddafi after his death in 2011 at the end of the civil war.

The book also features interviews with a woman who ferried the girls to Gaddafi's compound and other victims.
Ms Cojean also alleges Gaddafi, who was married to Safia Farkash, pursued students and the wives of foreign dignitaries.

Ms Cojean was quoted in the New York Daily News as writing: 'It was not so much about seducing a woman as, through her, humiliating the man who is supposed to be responsible for her.'
Female visitors were routinely subjected to blood tests by Gaddafi's nurses to make sure they were disease free in case he wanted to have sex with them.

Marie Colvin, the Sunday Times journalist killed in Syria in 2012, reported that a nurse had approached her with a needle when she was in Tripoli to interview Gaddafi. She declined to give blood.

Doctors Have Warned me To Stay Away From Unprotected Sex: Vast Bracket Tells His Story

Vast is back home now, hale and hearty.

And in a very fresh chat with Saturdaybeats, Vast recounted his experience, battling with cancer, right from when pictures of a sick him hit the internet.
Here's what he said:

"When the picture leaked, we were not happy initially. I was very skinny but when I saw the response from the fans, I was shocked. I did not know people liked me that much.

Trust me; there was a female fan that said that if I died, she was going to die. I nearly cried and said God, if you save me, I would make these people one of the happiest people on earth.

That was why I went to the studio and began singing like I never did before. I took myself back to the days when we sang 'Yori Yori',"

Recounting how it began, the dark-skinned singer said he thought it was fever. It was when they went to London for an extensive test that they knew what was wrong with him.

"It all started when we went on an American tour and I started feeling feverish. I found myself taking my bath with hot water even on a very hot day. That was when I started noticing something was wrong.

I noticed that whenever I drank alcohol, the fever would come in an aggressive way. I eventually went to a hospital in London. The doctor told me not to worry that everything would be fine. He said to start the treatment, they would have to do something that would allow them take something from my spine. It was a very painful procedure."

He told Saturday Beats that there were times when he felt like he was dying.

"There was a time that I felt I would die. My only fear was that I was not close to God. I was afraid that if I died, I would not make it to heaven.
We musicians have a particular lifestyle. You may plan to be upright, but when you go into entertainment business, it would change you.

I was regretting that I was not close to God. I did not want to go to hell. I felt so happy that I survived," he said.

Assured that he is healed, he said that at the end of the treatment, he did a blood test and they said he was okay. The singer told Saturday Beats that the treatment cost him about £58,000.
He was supported by some close friends like P-Square, KCee, Flavour and a London-based friend, Ugonna, who offered them both accommodation and about £30,000.

"After the treatment, I did two other tests and the doctors confirmed that I was okay. After three months, I am meant to go for a PET scan. I could remember that before the treatment, we had a meeting and agreed that we had to bring £50,000. After the seventh chemotherapy session, the whole money finished. They had to send more £8,000 into the account I was using. The last time I went to withdraw money, what was left there was £120. So I used about £58,000," the singer said.

He told Saturday Beats that the doctors warned him to stay away from unprotected sex for about three months. They said if he impregnates a girl, the baby may not form normally as he still has residues of the chemotherapy in his body.

Angelo Denies Having Sex With Beverly

Beverly and Angelo
Though it is widely believed that the South African housemate, Angelo, had sex with the Nigerian housemate, Beverly, in the ongoing Big Brother Africa reality show, the dreadlocked guy has denied it. He said they were ‘just kissing’.

Speaking to Saturday Beats on the phone earlier in the week, after being evicted from the show, Angelo said, “We didn’t have sex. We talked about it. There were some things I said I wasn’t going to do in the house. I respect my mum so much.  Before I got into the house, there were things I told my mummy I wasn’t going to do. I wasn’t butt naked. It looked as if we were having sex in that bathtub. We were just kissing. I couldn’t take advantage of Beverly because I respect her so much.”

Respect is not the only thing Angelo has for the Nigerian lady. Angelo also confirmed that he is in love with her and intends to pursue the relationship.

“We will try and work things out and see how we can make our relationship work. At the same time, I hope the people of Nigeria don’t hate Bev.  I would love to come to Nigeria and experience Nigerian culture and take lots of pepper,” he said.

Now that he is out of the house, so many people feel the South African will go back to the girlfriend he left behind before BBA. But he said he wasn’t in any relationship before he got into the show.

“I didn’t have a girlfriend before I got into the house, but I had someone I told to wait for me so that we would see what would happen when I get out of the house. I will be focused on what I want to do as a person and then focus on my relationship with Bev and see where we will take it to,” he said.

No matter his feelings for Beverly though, Angelo said he hopes Melvin, the other Nigerian housemate, comes out tops in the show.

“Melvin is very humble and he is not a selfish person. I wish he wins. I think he is a stronger competition than Beverly,” he said.

Meanwhile, the show ends tomorrow with Elikem, Cleo, Dillish, Melvin and Beverly as the finalists.

PHOTOS of INNOSON THE FIRST MADE IN NIGERIA CARS,BUSES ,TRUCKS

The youngest among six children, Chief (Dr) Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma (OFR), was born into the family of Mr & Mrs Chukwuma Mojekwu of Uru-Umudim, Nnewi, in Anambra State, without the proverbial silver spoon in his mouth. But, what he lacked in affluent parental background, he made up for with intelligence, hard-work, discipline and business acumen - qualities that have continued to interplay remarkably in his many ventures.

In February 2007, Chukwuma embarked on what some analysts perceived then as a mission impossible, when it incorporated INNOSON Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited (IVM), to produce sundry commercial automobiles, utility vehicles and passenger cars, in collaboration with a consortium of Chinese auto manufacturers.

With the public display of some of the vehicles at the 2nd Nnewi International Auto Trade Fair held at the Beverly Hills Hotels (Gabros Sports Complex) in the last quarter of 2009, IVM did not only silence the critics, but made a bold statement about its readiness to achieve the avowed mission of being the first (indigenous) auto maker to produce truly Nigerian vehicles that are affordable and reliable.

IVM is today a success story which has attracted effusive commendations and awards from various quarters, including the nation's seat of power. While opening the plant on October 15, 2010, President Goodluck Jonathan not only hailed Chukwuma for the courage of venturing into an industry many ran away from, but also assured him of government's patronage from the government.

Lagos rescues 25 children from trafficker

Rescued children
Lagos State Government has rescued 25 children from an alleged child trafficker in the Egbeda area of the state.

It was learnt that the suspected trafficker, Mrs. Rosemary Nwachukwu, was also arrested and had been handed over to the Alausa Police Division, while the children were currently in government’s custody.

The government accused Nwachukwu of operating an illegal orphanage named, Saint Stephen Charity Foundation, on Abiodun Adebanbo Street, Egbeda.

It was gathered that officials from the Office of Youth and Social Department, led by the Director, Child Development, Mrs. Alaba Fadairo, in conjunction with personnel from the Office of Public Defender and policemen, stormed the orphanage on Saturday.

The government said findings showed that the suspect was using the orphanage as a front for another illegal business.

The Director, OPD, Mrs. Omotola Rotimi, said of the children, whose ages ranged from three months to 12 years, were victims of human trafficking.

Rotimi said, “It was discovered upon investigation that Nwachukwu trafficked 27 children and kept them in a room. We were able to rescue three infants of ages three to six months and 22 other children. Efforts are still on to locate the remaining two.”

The OPD director added that the suspect used the victims for financial gains by putting them up for adoption. She said the suspect would be charged to court after investigations had been concluded.

However, Fadairo, said, “Investigation also shows that there are no records of each child and no evidence of how the children got to her orphanage. No police or security report.”

Fadairo urged members of the public to be vigilant and report suspicious orphanages to the appropriate authorities.  She said some of the orphanages might be  fronts for human trafficking.

She said, “People and organisations that operated unapproved orphanages will be arrested and prosecuted according to the law.”

But Nwachukwu said she had been running the orphanage for 18 years, adding that it was purely on charity basis, and without financial gain.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said Nwachukwu was in police custody and would be charged to court on Friday (today).

She said, “We found out that she registered as a charity and thus not qualified to run an orphanage. She will be taken to court on Friday (today).”
